An educator fuelled by a fascination with anatomy and a desire to ask ‘why’. With more than 10,000 hours of teaching experience across over 20 countries, Adam has led workshops, trainings, festivals, and classes in some of the world’s leading studios and most most iconic venues—from The Shard and The Gherkin to the London Eye—and has taught on main stages at events such as Yogagames, Wilderness Festival, Swiss Yoga Conference, and Happy Place Festival.

What sets Adam apart is not just the breadth of his experience, but the depth of his curiosity. With a background spanning law (Durham University), boxing, weightlifting, martial arts, ultramarathon running, and nonprofit work, he brings a multidimensional perspective to yoga—one that resonates with students seeking more than aesthetic shapes.

His teaching is rooted in Alignment-Based Vinyasa, shaped by decades of study in anatomy, mobility, meditation, breathwork and modern movement science. Expect clear sequencing, intelligent structure, and a commitment to balancing flexibility and strength—both physically and mentally. He’s grateful to teachers that have had impact on his path, including; Jason Crandell, Jack Cornfield, Tara Brach, Michael Stone, Cameron Shayne, Patrick McKeown, Bernie Clark, Jules Mitchell, Tom Myers and many more.

Adam has co-created one of the worlds leading 200-hour teacher trainings at Triyoga London, co-led a training with Jason Crandell, and delivered advanced CPDs across cities like Zurich, Stockholm, Dublin, Sofia, Vienna, and Edinburgh. His mentorship programmes and professional development trainings have supported hundreds of yoga teachers and studio owners in refining not just what they teach, but how they teach—with clarity, confidence, and creativity.

His work extends far beyond the studio. Adam hosts the long-running Honestly Unbalanced podcast (100+ episodes), shares his insights through online education platforms including his own Centred States, and has consulted for studios, events, and global wellness brands.

His writing has appeared in Yoga Journal, and he’s been featured in outlets like Men’s Health, Runner’s World, Women’s Fitness, and The Guardian. He’s collaborated with leading brands including Adidas, Bose, Ikea, Vodafone, and more, and also, as a passion project, works as a photographer helping wellness professionals elevate their visual presence.

At his core, Adam identifies as a teacher and educator, not an instructor. His mission is to equip students with practical tools for real-life application—offering education, not entertainment; inquiry, not dogma. Whether working with beginners or seasoned professionals, his aim is to foster thoughtful, embodied, and sustainable growth.

Based between London and the Surrey countryside, Adam divides his time between teaching in London, mentoring educators around the world, creating content for his 100k+ online audience, spending time with his 2 young sons & sound healer wife, and squeezing in cold plunges, kettlebells, and quiet moments in nature.

PRE-TEACHING CAREER

Born in Birmingham, Adam headed north to the chilly hills of Durham with plans for a lucrative legal career. That plan didn’t last long. Time spent with law books were swapped for something that felt far more real—working with young people in underfunded schools and youth offender units across the North (and sometimes much further afield—in places like Nepal and Honduras).

After a brief post-uni sabbatical spent running a bar and walking the width of Spain, outside of yoga and his other physical pursuits, Adam turned his focus fully to the non-profit sector , with career highlights including:

  • Managing two large-scale youth hubs in Central London—complete with theatres, recording studios, catering kitchens, gyms, dance spaces, and a lot of teenagers.

  • Designing and delivering programmes for hundreds of young people through the National Citizen Service (NCS), with The Challenge.
